La Coupe Hauxer

A battle for hockey bragging rights through head to head competition between each of our favorite teams - Devils (Brad), Flyers (Wiley), Penguins (Sam), and Capitals (Fritz/William). The winner(s) gets the historic La Coupe Hauxer and the universal currency of respect/adminiration. The loser(s) gets the Stanley Screwdriver, the universal currency of humiliation and has to buy everyone dinner at the Vienna Inn. Game on!

And then, there were 2

Well after a nail biting game 7 overtime win, it seems that the Captials get to start their golfing a little earlier than they expected. It just goes to show that their is no substitution for experience and the Flyers live to fight another day. If all goes well they will knock they Penguins off their high horse and be playing for the cup. But let us be patient, after such a long layover the guins might not be up to form to even get to play the Flyers. I must say it is an exciting year for the playoffs. BRING IT ON SAMMY!

    It will be fun to embarrass the Flyers in the Conference finals. I look forward to the Pens exposing the Flyers for the thugs that they are!

    (I am a little worried about the Rangers series though. Why can't the Caps do anything right????)

    If we get past the Rangers, we are headed to the Cup finals--no Flyers will stop us!!

    We will have to think of terms for a wager, Wiley....
