La Coupe Hauxer

A battle for hockey bragging rights through head to head competition between each of our favorite teams - Devils (Brad), Flyers (Wiley), Penguins (Sam), and Capitals (Fritz/William). The winner(s) gets the historic La Coupe Hauxer and the universal currency of respect/adminiration. The loser(s) gets the Stanley Screwdriver, the universal currency of humiliation and has to buy everyone dinner at the Vienna Inn. Game on!

Flyers Finally Win!

FLYERS WIN! FLYERS WIN! Whoo-hoo, in a stunning OT win against the Devils the Flyers Finally break into the W column, Hell Yes! No Donut this year! I realize that this will have zero impact on the standings, but at least it was not a clean sweep. Devils fans must be dissapointed, Mulch?

    Actually Wiley, this game DOES have a HUGE impact on the standings (just not on moving the Flyers out of the cellar). Now the Pens are back in a 1st place tied (technically a half-game ahead!) with NJ.

    The Caps may be mired in a slump during year 2 of the rebuild, but at least they didn't lose to that sorry team from Filthadelphia. I don't think a team that loses this year's Flyers deserves to win La Coupe Hauxer.
