La Coupe Hauxer

A battle for hockey bragging rights through head to head competition between each of our favorite teams - Devils (Brad), Flyers (Wiley), Penguins (Sam), and Capitals (Fritz/William). The winner(s) gets the historic La Coupe Hauxer and the universal currency of respect/adminiration. The loser(s) gets the Stanley Screwdriver, the universal currency of humiliation and has to buy everyone dinner at the Vienna Inn. Game on!

0-3, Washington. And you say you're better how?

Pittsburgh's been the worst team all season. I won't deny that. However, when it comes to facing the Craptials, they seem to turn it on.

Maybe it's just me, but I think God hates the Washington Crapitals. I think he really does. Especially if you're 0-fer against the worst team in the league.

    Have the Caps clinched lazt place yet, and thus, the title of holder of "The Stanley Screwdriver?" Or do our beloved Pittsburgh Almost-in-Kansas City- Penguins have to beat the Caps one more time to ensure Jake and I aren't buying everyone hotdogs?

    More importantly, we have an outside chance at second!!

    I think the Pengyunz have a better shot at staying in Pittsburgh than Fritz and I do of not winning the Stanley Screwdriver and buying everyone dinner at the Inn.

    By the way, if God hates us, how come we have an arena for the long-term and Pittsburgh doesn't?
